About the retreat

This trip marks the beginning of something I’ve been dreaming about for a long time: the first MASA collective retreat. This is not a ski trip. This is a holistic ski experience. MASA is about connection through movement, place, and shared moments - the kind that happen around a long table, on a chairlift, or over coffee before the first run of the day.

Our experience will take place in Chamonix, France from February 7th to 13th, 2026. The week is designed to balance adventure, ease, and fun. It’s not a tour or a package; it’s a collective experience of coming together to ski, cook, explore, and settle into the rhythm of the mountains.

Trip Itinerary

A day-by-day breakdown of the trip.

Travel & Logistics

Getting there is part of the trip. This section covers everything you need before you leave — flights, arrival details, and how we move between regions once we're on the ground. We handle the logistics so you arrive with context, not questions.

OUTBOUND FLIGHT

Geneva Airport (GVA)

You can fly to and from Geneva from most major cities (ideally without a connection) making travel simple and efficient no matter where you’re coming from.

ARRIVAL WINDOW

Morning 07 February

Aim to land in GVA on February 7th in the AM

TRANSFERS

Bus/Shuttle Transfers

From there, the valley is just a 1.5-hour journey, and there are several easy ways to get there. Several companies offer regular bus services to Chamonix, costing minimum $25 one-way. Booking in advance also helps (If you’d like help arranging transfers from the airport, I’m happy to organize buses or shuttle services on your behalf)

DEPARTURE

Farewell

Leaving from GVA on February 13th midday/early afternoon (mainly for ease of shared transport)

Highlights

Every trip has a handful of moments that end up defining it. These are the ones we've built the itinerary around — the places, experiences, and in-between bits that tend to stay with you.

Skiing & Adventure (+Guided Skiing Excursions)

We’ll have up to five full days on the mountain, and how you spend them is entirely up to you. Anyone can choose to ski fewer days if they prefer to relax and explore Chamonix and the surrounding area. Whether your perfect day means first lifts or a slow morning followed by a long lunch and a sauna, the week is designed to be open, for people to find their own rhythm within the mountains.

Eating in the Alps

If you know me, you know good food will be imperative. One of the reasons Chamonix felt right for this first trip is its balance: great food, great energy, and plenty of ways to make it your own. We’ll mix meals out in town (think fondue spots, bistros, and après-ski wine bars) with slow, home-cooked dinners at the chalet. The kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped, and some of my favorite memories from past trips have been cooking together, sharing breakfast before skiing, and gathering around the table in the evenings.

Fondue & Raclette Night: Full alpine dinner with fondue and cheese raclette at the house. Get ready for the best food coma ever. Option to have us dress up for the night to make it fun.

Accommodations

Each stay is chosen for the same reasons: location, character, and how well it fits the rhythm of the trip. We book as a group, so you arrive knowing where you're sleeping and who you're sharing it with.

Shared Accommodation: Depending on the hotel/cabin, Rooms are shared with another guest(s). This is set up so that we can secure the best spots at the best rates.
